Depending on the final result you want, the method to follow will vary. On this page you can find a basic guide on how to install the brick slips, but do not hesitate to find inspiration in our image gallery or contact us and we will advise you on the best method to follow.
Before starting
The first thing you have to consider is how many pieces or sqm you will need, measure the surface you want to cover and decide the height of the joint between the brick slips.

Broken pieces? Use them
There is a minimal possibility that during the transport some brick slips will break. Use those pieces to finish off corners or spaces with complicated geometry. We always recommend that you order 10% more than the required quantity.
What kind of adhesive to use?
- Depending on the resistant and waterproofing conditions of the surface where the brick slips are to be glued, the choice of adhesive and the importance of following its instructions for surface preparation will be vital. We recommend “GEL-ADHESIVE H40 WITHOUT LIMITS” of the KERAKOLL brand. It can be placed on concrete, ceramic, wood, metal, PVC.
- Choose the same colour of cement glue as the colour you have decided for the mortar (we recommend white or light tones).

.
We recommend filling the joint with mortar, available in several colours. If you want to recreate an authentic finish, use factory sand mixed with white cement, (in the past it was done with sand and lime).
